Mr. Mitani will oversee the security initiatives within the Japanese operation, including strategy, operations, implementations, and management of cybersecurity.

Mr. Mitani has over 25 years of experience in the payment industry vertical in multiple roles across different business verticals. His vast knowledge and experiences include building and heading up operations for card-acquiring departments and businesses. Most recently, Mr. Mitani was a senior management team member for the Information Technology & Operations Planning Group at JFR Card co, ltd.

Mr. Horii has extensive experience in the banking and fintech industry and has spent many years in his career overseeing regulatory procedures. Mr. Horii left his position as the COO at FXcoin Ltd. to join Paywiser Ltd. Prior to his role as the COO, Mr. Horii was the head of the legal and compliance department at FXcoin Ltd. Additionally, Mr. Horii has acted as the regulatory advisor at financial and fintech firms such as SBI Securities Co., Ltd., and ANX Japan, BITOCEAN, and UBS.

Mr. Horii will bring his wealth of expertise and will lead the effort for the Paywiser Japan office. Paywiser values and appreciates the need for solid cybersecurity, privacy, safety around risk, and compliance. Paywiser is happy to announce our new partnership with EasyTransfer to support students studying abroad. 

According to the International student recruitment data*, in 2020-21 there were 605,130 international students studying in the UK and with more than 75% coming from non-EU countries.

The principal membership enables Paywiser d.o.o to facilitate the issuance of UPI prepaid and debit cards and to provide acquiring services to merchants.

Paywiser obtained and approved for the Money Services Business (MSB) license in the United States. This license indicates that Paywiser can officially engage in monetary transaction services in the United States under the U.S. Department of Treasury regulations. This license embraces Paywiser’s vision of a robust global payments infrastructure to meet our partners’ and customers’ financial payment needs across the globe.

The United States MSB license is a financial license issued by the Financial Crimes Enforcement Bureau (FinCEN), an agency under the United States Department of Treasury. Companies engaged in currency trading/transfer must obtain this license to operate in the United States.

Nina’s has worked in Sberbank Banka d.d. for over 11 years. She has experience in various aspects of the banking market, including customer data protection, compliance policy reviews and implementations, compliance risk management and fraud management.
